Set of 10 smaller dishes or ashtrays designed by Per Lütken and Christer Holmgren for Holmegaard in the 1950s to 1970s.
Dimensions between:
Small ashtray/dish 5 cm height and 9.5 x 11.5 cm width, length.
Dish/ashtray 8.3 cm height and 16 x 20 cm width, length.
The set weighs about 8500 gr.
Fine vintage condition with few signs of wear and years of use.
Per Lütken was affiliated with Holmegaards Glasværk throughout the period from 1941 until 1998 when he died. For more than 50 years, glass was Per Lütken's life and he designed around 3,000 glasses within drinking glasses, vases, jars and other glass art for Holmegaard Glasværk.
Christer Holmgren, born in Malmö, Sweden, studied ceramics, graphic and industrial design at the School of Applied Arts in Gothenburg. After graduating, he worked for several years as a glass designer at Holmegaard in Denmark.
