"Klukfalsker" - Cluck bottle types appear in the Renaissance, but it was not until the 18th century that the form that is still commonly used was reached. The origin is German but later it became a Scandinavian speciality. The bottles or decanters has a body, which is divided into a practically equal upper and lower part that are connected to each other with five pipes - a central pipe and four outer pipes. The shape is square with very rounded corners.
Cluck bottles have been used in particular for brandy and the name kluk comes from the cozy sound they make while pouring.
