Happy birthday, Kay Bojesen - born 130 years ago. I played with these more then 40 years ago. Kay Bojesen (15 August 1886 – 28 August 1958) was a Danish silversmith and designer. He is best known for creating wooden animals, especially his wooden monkey which was exhibited at the Victoria and Albert museum in London in the nineteen-fifties, and which today is considered a design classic.From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nature is often the starting point for the painter and weaver Mette Birckner, but going to explore the pictures, there are many stories stored. They can be magical, immediate or just sentient nature in all its color-saturated look.Mette Birckner trained tapestry weaver from Hjørdis Bruun Weaving School in 1960 in Copenhagen, has since his debut at age 18 exhibited widely in Denmark, including at the Autumn Art Exhibition, Charlotte's Spring Exhibition, Artists' Easter Exhibition and Artists Summer Exhibition.
